Tomato Paste Bloody Mary - Recipe in pictures

There’s nothing like being in lockdown to make you miss being able to just pop out to the shops to get random ingredients. Like tomato juice, which I don't normally have in my pantry. But like most Australians, I usually have tomato paste as it's great for thickening sauces and adding that added layer of umami to stews. So here's a quick and easy Bloody Mary recipe in 4 easy steps using your stock standard pantry staple. The good thing about this, is that you can swap out so many of the ingredients for what you have in your own cupboard. Pro-tip, the dash of fish sauce (if you've got it) really adds a kick to this.

Swap out the vodka for gin and you've got yourself a Red Snapper or use tequila for a Bloody Maria.
