Love rum? Then take up this tasting with a difference where you get to participate in a rum showdown a la Iron Chef. We'll take 2 rums from the Old World each showcasing a different style in the category and match them up with 2 rums from the New World for you to drink and compare. Pick your favourite from each category and let's see if the master or the protege will win the battle for your tastebuds! Generally lasting about 1.5 - 2 hours (some set up time will be required prior), this is the perfect activity for groups small or large and any time of the day.

THE DETAILS

Tasting session for $89 per person* includes:

  • Tasting flight of 4 different rums (add on of a cocktail to finish available for an additional fee)

  • An experienced host(ess) to guide you through the tasting

  • All glassware

  • Tasting sheet and tasting props

*Minimum 6 people booking applies

*Bookings requiring travel outside of a 25km radius of Sydney CBD will attract a travel surcharge of 15% of the total booking cost. Bookings requiring travel outside of a 50km radius of Sydney CBD will attract additional surcharges depending on your location.

*50% deposit will be required to confirm booking and full payment is required at least 48 hours prior to the booking. 

*in line with the responsible service of alcohol, we will also liaise with you to have light snacks served during the tasting. This is primarily in the form of crackers and plain biscuits or chips. We will provide you with our recommended list of what you should get. We also assume you will have water available and can provide the cups for each guest for water separately.
